The University for the Creative Arts has campuses at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester and is home to 7,000 students from over 70 countries studying on courses in fashion, graphics, design, media, fine art and architecture.
Library and Learning Services needs an Archivist to scope the teaching, learning and research significance of the archives and special collections of the University. You will be responsible for establishing collection policies and making them accessible through a programme of archival-standard cataloguing, promotion and exploring the potential for further donation.
You will have a postgraduate qualification in archives and record management or equivalent, the necessary experience to manage archives and rare book material and specialist knowledge of archival standards, conservation and compliance issues.
