Learning & Teaching

Learning and Teaching practice

Welcome to learning and teaching in the creative arts at the University for the Creative Arts.

The University for the Creative Arts is committed to innovation in learning and teaching in the creative arts that contributes to the provision of high quality teaching to create a student centred learning environment.

Learning Teaching and Assessment Strategy

The Learning Teaching and Assessment Strategy establishes a framework for teaching learning and assessment in the University which continues to enhance, share and embed good learning and teaching practice to develop a learning culture for staff and students in a creative arts environment.

Learning and teaching development

The University for the Creative Arts supports the learning and teaching development of academic and support staff through the postgraduate certificate (PGC LTCA) and continuous professional development (CPD) programmes

We promote the importance of learning and teaching through events such as the annual conference, awards for Teaching Fellows and Excellence in Teaching and research into learning and teaching in both the FE and HE sectors.

Resources

Resources for enhancing teaching learning and assessment are developed from research projects, case studies and best practice and are shared for all staff through the Learning Innovation Network for the Creative Arts (LINCA).
