The University for the Creative Arts supports the learning and teaching development of academic and support staff through the postgraduate certificate (PGC LTCA) and continuous professional development (CPD) programmes.
The Post Graduate Certificate Learning and Teaching in the Creative Arts offers staff an opportunity to gain teaching qualification recognized by the Higher Education Academy and Lifelong Learning.
Continuous professional development in learning and teaching is a requirement from September 2007 for all academic staff to maintain their professional registration. Learning and Teaching is working with the University's Learning & Development department to develop a range of CPD activities for all staff.
A handbook for new sessional staff introducing key issues in learning and teaching forms part of their induction to teaching at University for the Creative Arts.
