Counselling
The service provides professional counselling to individual students free of charge.
The Counselling Team are fully qualified and experienced Counsellors and abide by the Code of Practice and Ethics of BACP, BPS and UKCP. We are located within Student Services on each campus.
Access to the service varies in order to best meet the needs of each campus. Sometimes it is appropriate to refer students to other sources for specialist help, either internally within the University (for example welfare or disability support) or outside agencies (such as your doctor).
To book an appointment please read the Counselling Information Sheet and complete the Counselling Request Form.
For more information on how the Counselling Team can help, please read our Service Statement.
For other student healthcare information, please see our Health & Wellbeing pages.
