eStream TV & Radio

eStream - recorded television and radio broadcasts

Online television and radio broadcast recordings

eStream is the University Library's system for digitally recording television and radio broadcasts. You view programmes via a web browser similar to the way you watch YouTube.

Access eStream on and off campus at
>> www.estream.ucreative.ac.uk

Off campus use your standard UCA computer login.
On campus you should not need to log in unless you are using Firefox or Safari.

eStream cannot be accessed outside the UK.

The Library holds an Educational Recording Agency (ERA Plus) licence which enables us to legally record broadcast material on eStream. In addition to capturing the latest programmes, over time we will also be transferring our existing physical collections of broadcast material to the eStream system.

If you want to see what has been recorded recently, just type an asterisk into the search box to bring up a list of all programmes,  in most recent to oldest order.

The majority of freeview programmes recorded via eStream will have the option to turn subtitles on.

Programmes recorded through our Sky subscription do not automatically have subtitles; however subtitles can be added at the point of recording by prior arrangement with library staff. These programmes are then made available on eStream.

The University Library also has access to audio description services for the visually impaired via our subscription to Sky. Audio description can be added at the point of recording by prior arrangement with  library staff.  These programmes are then made available on eStream.

We welcome feedback from both staff and students. If you have any comments or questions about eStream please contact the Visual Resources team at libraryvr@ucreative.ac.uk

For further help please see the eStream user guide (PDF - 507 KB).
